J.R. Roberts is Founder and President of J.R. Roberts Security Strategies, providing security consultation services to a nationwide client base for over 30 years.

The company advises its clients on all aspects of the foreseeability of crime, target hardening and risk transference, offering long and short-range strategies to reduce crime vulnerability. Additionally, a significant portion of J.R. Roberts’ work is with attorneys involved in litigation concerning premises liability.

Utilizing CAP Index Data

J.R. Roberts first became familiar with CAP Index when he was Director of Risk Management for the largest provider of contract security personnel to the shopping center industry. As a security consultant in private practice, he has been working with the company for the past decade.

J.R. Roberts uses CAP Index data in a number of ways. First and foremost, it helps educate the company’s clients about the kinds of threats posed in their immediate environments and how they can adjust their security strategies accordingly. In working with attorneys on premises liability cases, Roberts utilizes CAP Index data to provide an objective evaluation of crime in specific geographic areas.
